Summary
For design engineering projects such as bulk materials transport and storage, it is a trend today to build on and rely on numerical models of DEM simulations. This can increase the economic efficiency of new production or optimize existing engineering works. The subject of the research within the proposed project should be the design of calibration equipment for research and optimization of input and output parameters for the discrete element method, with practical application in the modeling of transport and storage systems.
