Summary
The aim of the project is to research the potential of the Moravian-Silesian Region for greater use of hydrogen in the energy, transport and industrial sectors. Barriers, needs and opportunities at the regional and national levels will be identified. Key players will be identified to address all aspects that prevent or, in turn, promote rapid introduction of hydrogen as a substitute for traditional energy sources. The research team will examine the potential of hydrogen technologies as a tool for completing the restructuring of the MS Region, the mediated outputs will also be useful for other coal regions in the Czech Republic and the EU. The research will include the main technological challenges, the necessary changes in the legislative, economic and enfiromental field.
