Summary
The project is focused on the proposal of two variants (screening and arbitration) for the measurement of solid fuel combustion units at their operators. Two methodologies will be prepared, one with the requirement on measurement accuracy and the other one with the requirement on minimum investment and operating costs. The parallel objective is the measurement of emissions and operating parameters on a sufficient number of solid fuel boiler installations in households. Based on the data, emissions from household heating by solid fuels will be possibly evaluated more accurately for a better evaluation of the impact of „boiler subsidies“. The identification of the most common problems in boiler operation will enable targeted education of operators and manufacturers of combustion devices.
