Summary
The project focuses on the development of a micro combined heat and power technology based on the organic Rankine cycle (ORC) using waste heat generated during the combustion of biomass in low-output boilers. The aim of the project is to launch a new product supporting the energy self-sufficiency of end customers in the residential/municipal sphere and thus enable an increase in the efficiency of the conversion of primary energy sources. A significant benefit of the technology is the use of local resources supporting energy independence, which is highly relevant in the light of the ongoing shift from coal to more sustainable energy soruces.
