Summary
The objective of the submitted project is to develop a hybrid heat source for heating of buildings with an overall heat loss less than 100 kW. The hybrid source combines two different technologies, specifically an air-water heat pump with a biomass pellet combustion system. The economic operation of the hybrid source will be ensured by intelligent control, this represents a significant part of the project's intent. Within the project, three prototypes will be produced for three different groups of end-users. Four 4 utility models will be the main results of the project.
