Summary
The aim of the project is innovative and systematic experimental research aimed at identifying and describing appropriate and inappropriate operating practices in solid fuel heating. Their influence on operational parameters (GHG emissions, efficiency and thermal parameters) will be investigated in ideal (for certification) and real (in households) operation of radiant and hot water stationary combustion sources up to 300 kW. Their impact on air pollution will also be quantified. A secondary objective is to transfer the knowledge gained towards combustion operators in the form of articles and video tutorials.
The aim of good heating practices is to minimise transients and reduce air pollutant emissions.
