The opening ceremony of the new CEETe polygon is a significant moment for the entire research community, industry, and the public. The main objective of the campus is to showcase the possibilities of breaking free from fossil fuel dependence through the use of modern low-carbon technologies, thereby aiding the region in its transformation from a coal-based region to a modern, energy self-sufficient region, with the highest priority placed on preserving the quality of life for its residents.
Visitors will have a unique opportunity to explore the modern facilities and laboratories that CEETe has to offer. Throughout the day, there will be presentations of innovative projects and technologies developed within the center. Guests will also have the chance to meet with research teams and partners of CEETe and engage in discussions about current research directions and the future of energy.
CEETe is a next-generation center that brings together research, development, and the marketability of results through intersectoral cooperation in the field of sustainable energy. Its goal is to transfer innovative technologies to ensure energy self-sufficiency and resource independence in the European context.
The project, the Center for Energy and Environmental Technologies – explorer, is co-financed by the European Union.
The CEETe project was co-financed from the budget of the Moravian-Silesian Region.
