Summary
VSB–Technical University Ostrava will launch a system of structural mechanisms to support academic writing in English and publishing efforts of PhD students. The system will consist of modular blended-learning courses for doctoral students, workshops for dissertation advisors/ supervisors, and a teaching manual for academic writing course instructors. Individual parts of the system will be linked to ensure a systemic change and a successful introduction of university-wide support mechanisms for doctoral students' publishing activities.The project is designed to improve students' communication and research skills leading to higher quality publication output. By supporting doctoral students, the project will also support student advisors.
