Focus: Design, synthesis, and characterization of organic and polymer-based nanocomposites with tailored functional properties.

Key Activities:

  • Incorporation of nanoparticles (e.g., graphene, metal oxides, nanoclays) into polymer matrices
  • Development of flexible, lightweight, and multifunctional materials for energy storage, packaging, and filtration
  • Structure-property relationships and processing optimization (e.g., solution casting, electrospinning, 3D printing)
  • Thermal, mechanical, and barrier property enhancement using nanofillers
  • Biopolymer-based composites for sustainable and biodegradable applications
