Laboratories of the Nanotechnology centre offer wide range of services in the fields of material testing, chemical, structural and phase analyses, mainly in the field of analysis of the material and the environmental compartments such as drinking water, surface water, groundwater and wastewater, water leachates, soil, wastes, emissions, sediments, fuels, sludges, oils, building and silicate materials, spirits, industrial spirits or antifreeze. In the work of Nanotechnology centre, testing and characterization of friction materials are also significant. Nanotechnology centre provides analytical services for more than twenty years and, thus, guarantees both quality and reliability of the results.
Long-term experience and acquired skills allow us to offer to the customer consultations, results interpretation and expert opinions as well as development and implementation of new methods including a comprehensive solution of the issue in the field of both inorganic and organic materials – according to the demands of the customer.
Nanotechnology centre laboratories have quality management system established since 1997 and are, presently, accredited by the Czech Accreditation Institute according to the ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 standard. In the case of the accredited testing methods, the laboratories closely collaborate with the laboratory of the Institute of Environmental Technology (VSB – Technical University of Ostrava) which leads to broadening of the offered analytical services by including analyses of the selected organic compounds in emission, pollution and workspace air.
Laboratories have Accreditation with flexible scope of testing established which allows the expansion of the offered services in the range of the accredited methods, however, flexibility is also offered to the customers in the field of non-accredited methods according to the demand of the customer since the laboratories perform non-accredited services in chemical analyses as well as in phase and structural analyses. These services are provided with all the effort as in the case of the accredited methods.
