Grazyna Simha Martynkova gave an invited talk in which she presented the results of her research on battery separators. She focused on changes in the structure and morphology of polymer films before and after battery failure - a topic that is key to the development of safer and more efficient batteries.
The introductory lecture by Alicja Bachmatiuk was also met with a great response. She presented new approaches to the synthesis and characterization of two-dimensional transition metal carbides, which have wide applications in the field of electronics and energy.
The Innovative Characterization Techniques for 2D Materials and Beyond session, featuring both speakers, was chaired by Mark H. Rümmeli. He updated the participants on the current trends in modern characterization techniques, including advanced microscopy, which are key to research on 2D materials and low-dimensional systems.
CEET's participation in the conference confirms its important role in international research on advanced materials and energy technologies.
