Synthesis of sustainable alternative fuels from waste biomass into high-value chemicals and fuels using heterogeneous catalysts. Thermocatalytic combined aldol condensation followed by hydrodeoxygenation of bio-derived compounds to Sustainable fuel. Single-atom catalyst utilizing densely and selectively functionalized graphene for sequential reactions under mild reaction conditions. Combination of non-noble metal and oxyphilic metal in bimetallic formulation for avoiding the use of acid support. An efficient catalyst for deoxygenation reaction by using hydrogen donor solvent for in-situ hydrogen transfer. This high density sustainable alternative fuel can mitigate the carbon pollution from transportation sector.
