The 29th FEI Journal Club will take place on Thursday, this time on the topic of the space industry.
The guest speaker will be Ota Michálek, Chief Strategy Officer and Systems Engineer at Spacemanic CZ, a graduate of the Aerospace Engineering program at the University of Bristol. In his presentation, “NewSpace, CubeSats, and the Space Industry: Not Just for Universities,” he will discuss how the space industry operates globally and in Europe and explain the planning and operation of satellite missions using real-world examples.
He will also focus on the NewSpace concept, the role of a systems engineer, and current topics such as space debris and satellite constellations. Finally, he will present opportunities for getting involved in the space industry while still in school.
