The Centre for Energy and Environmental Technologies will welcome a distinguished international guest, Professor Win-Long Chia from Fu Jen Catholic University, who is visiting for a short academic stay.
As part of his visit, he will deliver a lecture entitled “A lifetime on synthesis of liquid crystals in Taiwan”, presenting the outcomes of his long-term research in the field of liquid crystal synthesis and offering an overview of the development of this research area in Taiwan.
The lecture will take place on Thursday from 12:30 to 13:30 in the IET meeting room. The event is open to anyone interested in materials research and related fields.
