Martin Pieš’s research has long focused on the design and implementation of low-power embedded systems and wireless sensor networks for Internet of Things-based monitoring applications. His professional interests include, in particular, the development of autonomous IoT nodes, energy consumption optimization, wireless communication, and reliable data collection in challenging conditions. The results of his research are applied in the fields of industrial and environmental monitoring, geotechnical engineering, energy, and healthcare, where he bridges academic research with practical applications and the transfer of technology to industrial practice.
