FAIR Data and Open Science

You are cordially invited to attend the FAIR Data and Open Science Summer Workshop for scientists and Ph.D. students.

Not only projects, but also the changing legislation towards open science is forcing scientists to reflect on their data handling practices. But how to burden scientists as little as possible? How to protect their data from misuse? And what to look out for to ensure that the FAIR principles are followed in publications? This is what we will focus on together in the workshop, which will take about 90 minutes of active work with the Zenodo repository. The event is aimed at absolute beginners, but we will also look at the challenges that funders have to face.

The workshop will be led by Ing. Tomáš Heryán, Ph.D., Data Steward & Open Science from the Centre for Energy and Environmental Technologies (CEET, VSB-TUO) in PC classroom EB413 in the FEI building. If you are interested in attending the workshop, please register for the date that suits you best. We offer a total of 6 dates conducted in Czech and 2 dates held in English.
