Title
Přeměna CO2 na užitečné chemikálie katalytickými a fotokatalytickými procesy v přítomnosti vysoce aktivních materiálů
Code
GF21-24268K
Summary
The project is focused on understanding the fundamental and key factors that influence the
relationship between the activity, selectivity and stability of hierarchically porous catalyst
support structures as well as photocatalytic TiO2-based heterojunction structured materials and
their physico-chemical properties. The project aims to describe the relationships between
materials’ synthesis parameters and the resulting properties. The activity of the catalysts and
photocatalysts will be investigated in terms of CO2 catalytic conversion and CO2 photocatalytic
reduction into valuable compounds. The main parameters affecting the reaction rate of
hierarchically porous support structures architectures for improved mass transfer properties in
the CO2 catalytic conversion as well as the migration pathway of excited electron-hole in the
heterojunction photocatalysts used for CO2 photocatalytic reduction will be evaluated and
described. Obtained information will lead to a better understanding of structure-activity
relationship, which will enable improved design of these materials.
