Summary
The monitoring of the IIS - Intelligent Air Pollution Source Identification System is aimed at identifying the processes responsible for air pollution and enables the operator of air pollution sources, public administration and road owners to refine and target further air protection measures. As part of the acquisition of the system in 2019 and 2020, a software tool has been developed in the Floreon+ environment that allows the work of monitoring measurements on line, working with data, graphs and models. The software makes it possible to find the processes responsible for air pollution, to optimise transport, and predictions and evaluations using neural networks are also being prepared in the IIS environment. The IIS project also connects the University of Ostrava and the Silesian University with the University of Ostrava. The experts aim to make the Floreon platform available to the public administration, to use it in projects such as Norway Grants and to develop it to monitor other parameters such as noise, temperature or groundwater levels. The sensor system is modular and will be complemented according to available technologies. The operating subsidy will enable VSB-TUO to further develop the unique system and link it to odour analysis using container sampling (canisters).
