Summary
The project will strengthen the basic infrastructure for monitoring microplastics in the Czech Republic. Problematics of microplastics in the environment has not yet been legislated, but it is discussed at the EU level with the aim of establishing methods for their determination and setting concentration limits for their discharge into the environment. The goal of the project is the acquisition of instrumental equipment and the introduction of methods for monitoring of microplastics. The activities carried out will be the monitoring of the occurrence and identification of the sources of microplastics.
