Summary
The project proposal focuses on waste-to-energy. The proposal aims to improve thermochemical processes and optimize operating conditions for the energy-material utilization of waste using an advanced AI-supported predictive model to increase process efficiency. The proposal will consider the operation of facilities with different operating principles (incineration, gasification, pyrolysis), levels of development (TRL 4 - TRL 8), different scales (6 kW - 6 MW), and different monitored outputs (thermal energy, flue gas purity, syngas quality, solid residue, pyrolysis oil...). The main goal of the project is the development of controllable, portable software as a carrier of an interconnected neural network able to predict the outputs of thermochemical processes and optimize their operation.
