Development of catalysts for co-pyrolysis of biomass and plastic to hydrogen-rich gas

The Centre for Energy and Environmental Technologies (CEET) cordially invites you to a guest lecture by Prof. Jacek Grams from the Lodz University of Technology, Poland.

Prof. Jacek Grams is based at the Institute of General and Ecological Chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, Lodz University of Technology in Poland. His long-term research focuses on the development of catalytic materials for environmental and energy applications, with a particular emphasis on technologies that contribute to the sustainable use of resources.

In his lecture, he will present recent developments in catalysts designed for the co-pyrolysis of biomass and plastic waste, focusing on maximizing hydrogen production. He will discuss the properties of active phases and catalyst supports, their influence on process efficiency, and new insights into reaction mechanisms. The lecture will also outline prospects for further research in the field of hydrogen-oriented pyrolysis technologies.

The lecture will take place on 16 June at 10:30 am in the Meeting Room of the Institute of Environmental Technology CEET.
