Meeting of the Environmental Commission of the Ostrava City Council at the IET

The program of the meeting started with a tour around our laboratories, where the participants got acquainted with modern instrumentation and current experiments in the field of catalysis, process engineering and environmental technologies.

Subsequently, the 22nd meeting of the committee was held in the IET meeting room. Before the meeting started, the participants listened to a lecture by IET Director Prof. Lucie Obalová, who presented the activities of our Institute, current research projects, cooperation with industrial partners and the results we have achieved in recent years. There was also a look into the history of our Institute and key milestones that have shaped our present.

We thank the members of the committee for their visit and interest in our activities. We believe that mutual cooperation between the research community and city government can contribute to more effective solutions to environmental challenges in our region.
