Nanotechnology Centre

The Nanotechnology Centre is part of the Centre for Energy and Environmental Technologies (CEET), a university institute of VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, with a strong focus on the research and characterisation of materials for energy storage and related applications.

Our research encompasses the synthesis, modification and detailed characterisation of nanomaterials, advanced composites and functional surfaces. We specialise in analytical techniques essential for evaluating material properties, including spectroscopy, electron microscopy, and thermal and electrochemical analysis – key tools for the development of energy storage technologies.

The Nanotechnology Centre (CNT) is headed by prof. Ing. Gražyna Simha Martynková, Ph.D.
