Clean Air Days in Jablonec nad Nisou

From 21 to 22 April 2026 (adjusted from the apparent typo '1016'), the town of Jablonec nad Nisou, in collaboration with the SMOKEMAN in Action team, hosted Clean Air Days. Over the two-day event, nearly 400 pupils and students from primary and secondary schools across Jablonec took part.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the educational show SMOKEMAN IN ACTION. We were delighted by the feedback from the participating schools, which was exceptionally positive. Both teachers and pupils appreciated the engaging content delivered in an entertaining and accessible way, successfully holding their attention whilst passing on vital information. We consider the topic of the proper operation of domestic combustion sources to be crucial, especially in rural areas where it has a direct impact on the quality of life. We value all the more the fact that you are reaching out to the wider general public with this issue. Mr Horák and his team are doing an excellent job, and we definitely recommend the educational show SMOKEMAN IN ACTION to other towns, schools, and organisations."

"I would like to thank you for organising such a fantastic educational activity. Smokeman was an absolute whirlwind. Lots of fascinating information... The students were thrilled..."
Miloň Podoubský, Teacher of Chemistry and Biology, Dr. Anton Randa Grammar School

"I would like to say thank you for the opportunity to take part in the Clean Air Days – Smokeman in Action event. The programme was excellently prepared, engaging, and highly beneficial for our pupils. I particularly appreciated the entertaining and interactive format, thanks to which the children naturally grasped topics such as photosynthesis, energy conversion, and air quality. It was also incredibly positive to see the active involvement of pupils who normally stay in the background during regular lessons. The programme drew them in, motivated them, and allowed them to experience success in a safe, playful environment. The whole class left buzzing with enthusiasm."

Earth Day Celebration in Vysoké Mýto

The team from the CEET Energy Research Centre brought their educational show, Smokeman in Action, to the traditional Earth Day celebration held in Vysoké Mýto on 23 April 2026.

"I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to all three 'Smokemen', who put on an all-around successful 'smoke show'. The spectacle captured our interest not only through its interactivity and entertaining format, but above all due to its high level of expertise and the clear delivery of important information.

It was wonderful to see how the gentlemen managed to engage the audience and communicate with them so actively. To devise and present technical knowledge, particularly to teenagers, requires a considerable dose of creativity and professionalism. Thanks to their commitment, energy, and skill in conveying 'dry scientific facts', the whole show had a very pleasant atmosphere. Most importantly, the children took away not only new knowledge but also a highly positive experience.

Based on the feedback from attendees, I can confirm that the show was genuinely enjoyed and met, and in many respects even exceeded, our expectations."
