We offer laboratory and pilot-scale testing of adsorbents designed to remove selected substances from gaseous and liquid media. We evaluate removal efficiency, adsorption capacity, and the course of adsorption and desorption processes. For gas-phase applications, we also determine dynamic breakthrough curves in columns of various scales and test materials using model gas mixtures as well as under conditions close to real operation.
The results are complemented by analytical determination of the monitored components, mathematical evaluation, and recommendations for suitable operating parameters of the adsorption system tailored to the specific application.

We provide comprehensive testing of adsorbents designed to remove selected substances from gaseous and liquid media. We determine sorption capacity, equilibrium and kinetic parameters, breakthrough curves, and the course of adsorption and desorption processes. For gases, measurements can also be carried out at high pressures of up to 200 bar.
Experimental results are complemented by analysis of the inlet and outlet media, characterisation of the material surface and porous structure, and mathematical evaluation. Based on the data obtained, we assess the suitability of the adsorbent for a specific application and recommend appropriate operating parameters for the adsorption process.

We perform experimental assessment of the sorption properties of solid materials in contact with various gases, including CO₂, CH₄, H₂ and N₂. Using the GASPRO HA system, we determine the amount of gas sorbed and characterise material behaviour as a function of pressure, at pressures of up to 200 bar.
The measurements enable assessment of the suitability of porous materials, sorbents and catalytic materials for specific applications in gas separation, capture and storage.

We provide laboratory and pilot-scale testing of technologies designed for the treatment of process gases, waste gases and syngas. We evaluate the efficiency of catalytic, sorption, photocatalytic and membrane processes, as well as technologies for the removal of tars, particulate matter and other undesirable components.
Testing is carried out using both model gas mixtures and real flue gases and process gases. The performance of individual technologies is evaluated through continuous monitoring and advanced analytical methods.

We monitor changes in the chemical composition of the gas, liquid and solid phases throughout sorption processes. Depending on the nature of the system, these changes can be monitored online in real time or evaluated by analysing samples collected at different stages of the experiment.
For gaseous systems, we primarily use FTIR analysis and gas chromatography with mass spectrometric detection and thermal desorption. Liquid samples can be analysed, for example, using HPLC liquid chromatography.
Sorbent characterisation can be complemented by XRF elemental analysis, determination of specific surface area and pore size distribution, or characterisation of active sites using TPD, TPR and TPO methods.
The resulting data enable a comprehensive assessment of changes in both the sorbent and the sorbed species during the process and provide deeper insight into the mechanisms governing their interactions.

We perform experimental pyrolysis tests of biomass, waste materials and other feedstocks at laboratory and pilot scale. The tests enable evaluation of the thermochemical conversion process and assessment of how feedstock properties and operating conditions affect the quantity and characteristics of the resulting products.
We perform thermochemical processing tests using microwave heating. We monitor the course of conversion, the production of individual product fractions, and the possibilities for adjusting process conditions to suit specific feedstock materials.

We perform thermochemical processing of biomass and other suitable materials to modify their properties and produce solid carbonaceous products. The tests enable assessment of the effects of process conditions on the yield and properties of the resulting biochar and other products.
We evaluate the effects of temperature, residence time and other operating parameters on the course of pyrolysis and the properties of the resulting products. Experimental testing enables the identification of suitable process conditions with regard to the desired yield and characteristics of the gaseous, liquid or solid product fractions.
