Summary
Research in NOx reduction using a new highly effective technologies using catalytic action of activated metal oxides. The goal of the project is to develop new optimized low cost technology for catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides produced during combustion processes, based on increasing the efficiency of the reducing agent using a standard low-cost high-temperature catalyst in the form of activated iron oxide metered directly into the flue gas stream and the subsequent separation of the catalyst.
The expected result of the project is to design a pilot unit for the reduction of NOx using activated iron oxides.
