Title
Reactor development, construction and testing for continuous in-situ sorption and photocatalysis measurements of gaseous pollutants by mass spectrometry
Code
SP2019/39
Summary
Subject of research within the project: The aim of the project is to construct apparatus for simultaneous in-situ measurement of photocatalysis of gaseous pollutants by mass spectroscopy and experimental verification of its practical application in the research of sorption photocatalytic materials. The existing quadrupole mass spectrometer VG 200 will be upgraded and controlled by PC using software developed by Ing. Jiří Bednář. At the same time, a vacuum chamber of a photocatalytic gas reactor for continuous measurement and a circulating system for long-term measurements will be constructed. Project duration: 01.01.2019 - 31.12.2019 Specification of research outcomes (project objective): Expected Outputs: 1. Publications at international conferences 3x 2. Publication in impacted periodic 4x 3. Prototype "Gas in-situ photocatalytic reactor" 1x Project Scheduling: 1st quarter - design of the functional model "photocatalytic reactor with quadrupole mass spectrometer detection" 2nd quarter - implementation and basic testing of the functional model of the "photocatalytic reactor with quadrupole mass spectrometer detection" 3rd quarter - testing the reproducibility of measurements using a "photocatalytic reactor with quadrupole mass spectrometer detection" - preparation and measurement of nanocatalysts by means of a "photocatalytic reactor with quadrupole mass spectrometer detection" 4th quarter - preparation and measurement of nanocatalysts by means of a "photocatalytic reactor with quadrupole mass spectrometer detection"
