Over 70 participants attended the seminar, with more than half coming from foreign universities.
The seminar was opened by Prof. Lucie Obalová, Ph.D., Director of the Institute of Environmental Technology. This was followed by presentations given by PhD students and postdocs from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Lodz University of Technology, West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, the University of Pardubice, the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague, and VSB-TUO. In their contributions, young researchers presented topics focused on the application of catalytic and photocatalytic processes in environmental protection and the production of renewable energy sources.
