The symposium was opened by Prof. Jana Kukutschová, Ph.D., Vice-Rector for Science and Research at VŠB-TUO, and Prof. Lucie Obalová, Ph.D., Director of the Institute of Environmental Technology. Throughout the day, students and researchers from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Lodz University of Technology, LRN-NCSI Puławy, Comenius University in Bratislava, the University of Pardubice, and VSB–Technical University of Ostrava presented their results.
