Circular economy of electrical energy storage materials

How can we make effective use of critical raw materials, extend material lifespans, and drive the energy sector towards a more sustainable future? Come and discover the latest research from the CEET Nanotechnology Centre.

The event is held as part of the Czech Academy of Sciences Week on Tuesday, 3 November from 16:00 to 17:40 in the VSB-TUO Auditorium.

You can look forward to three short lectures and a closing debate, presenting ways to transform waste materials into valuable resources for new technologies:

1. Circular Economy of Critical Raw Materials for Energy (20 min, in Czech)

Speaker: Prof. Ing. Gražyna Simha Martynková, Ph.D., Director of the CEET Nanotechnology Centre

2. Circular Economy of Polymer Materials (20 min, in Czech)

Speaker: Assoc. Prof. Ing. Karla Čech Barabaszová, Ph.D. Paed.IGIP,  CEET Nanotechnology Centre

3. Cathode Active Materials Recycling by Hydro-metallurgy (20 min)

Speaker: Dr. Basudev Swain, Faculty of Materials Science and Technology (VSB-TUO)

4. Closing Debate with Speakers (40 min)

Prior registration via the online form is required to attend.

Unable to attend in person? No problem! Following registration, we will send you a live stream link via email so you can join us from anywhere.

We look forward to meeting you and engaging in a discussion on how research and innovation can contribute to more sustainable resource management and the development of the energy sector.
